In recent years, the circular economy has assumed a central role in sustainable development strategies, emerging not merely as a resource management model but also as a potential driver of stability and adaptability for economic and organizational systems. Against this backdrop, this thesis aims to explore and define the link between circular economy practices and resilience, examining how circular models can influence the capacity to absorb and overcome systemic shocks. Building on a literature review and mapping exercise conducted during an internship, the study gathers and synthesizes key academic contributions on the subject. The objective is to clarify the dynamics connecting these two concepts, highlighting strategic drivers and findings to date, while providing a solid knowledge base for future quantitative or qualitative analyses.

Abstract
In recent years, the circular economy has assumed a central role in sustainable development strategies, emerging not merely as a resource management model but also as a potential driver of stability and adaptability for economic and organizational systems. Against this backdrop, this thesis aims to explore and define the link between circular economy practices and resilience, examining how circular models can influence the capacity to absorb and overcome systemic shocks. Building on a literature review and mapping exercise conducted during an internship, the study gathers and synthesizes key academic contributions on the subject. The objective is to clarify the dynamics connecting these two concepts, highlighting strategic drivers and findings to date, while providing a solid knowledge base for future quantitative or qualitative analyses.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
