The spread of Industry 4.0 (I4.0) technologies and the growing vulnerability of Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) supplies are redefining business strategies in terms of sustainability and resilience of supply chains. The thesis aims to investigate the role of Industry 4.0 technologies in the adoption of sustainable practises to mitigate the risk of CRM procurement within companies. The work adopts a structured and exploratory review of the scientific literature to understand the intersection between I4.0 technologies, sustainable practises and CRM management. Based on the evidence collected, a protocol for semi-structured interviews was finally developed, intended to support future empirical investigations in the business environment.

Abstract
The spread of Industry 4.0 (I4.0) technologies and the growing vulnerability of Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) supplies are redefining business strategies in terms of sustainability and resilience of supply chains. The thesis aims to investigate the role of Industry 4.0 technologies in the adoption of sustainable practises to mitigate the risk of CRM procurement within companies. The work adopts a structured and exploratory review of the scientific literature to understand the intersection between I4.0 technologies, sustainable practises and CRM management. Based on the evidence collected, a protocol for semi-structured interviews was finally developed, intended to support future empirical investigations in the business environment.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
