The analysis follows a two-stage process: within-case analyses, aimed at reconstructing the cultural and organizational dynamics specific to each case by comparing the perspectives of the interviewees, followed by a cross-case analysis designed to identify convergences, divergences, conditions under which phenomena emerge, and recurring patterns. The comparison of empirical evidence leads to the identification of twenty-one consolidated patterns, subsequently interpreted through five candidate cross-cutting mechanisms that connect phenomena across different dimensions of organizational culture. Building on these findings, the research examines the role of culture as a set of conditions through which organizations shape behaviors, relationships, decision-making processes, learning, and adaptive capacity. Particular attention is devoted to the interaction between the human dimension and artificial intelligence, exploring how cultural and organizational conditions may influence AI absorption and how the introduction of this technology may, in turn, reshape work practices, responsibilities, forms of collaboration, and criteria for recognizing individual contributions. The study contributes to the reconstruction and interpretation of the mechanisms emerging from the empirical comparison, their discussion in light of the existing literature, and the identification of their managerial implications. Within the limitations of an exploratory qualitative investigation, the research advances an understanding of organizational culture as a strategic infrastructure for transformation, highlighting the central role of human and organizational conditions in translating the opportunities offered by technological innovation into pathways for development and sustainable value creation.

Abstract
Within the limitations of an exploratory qualitative investigation, the research advances an understanding of organizational culture as a strategic infrastructure for transformation, highlighting the central role of human and organizational conditions in translating the opportunities offered by technological innovation into pathways for development and sustainable value creation.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
