This thesis addresses the study and design of an integrated notch filter for the rejection of 50 Hz power-line interference in electroencephalographic signal processing. The EEG is a biological signal that is particularly sensitive to electromagnetic interference due to its low amplitude. Following an analysis of the main circuit topologies for analog notch filters, the work presents the design and LTspice simulation of the proposed filter, evaluating its performance in terms of quality factor, rejection depth and passband behavior. The results obtained confirm the suitability of the solution for integration into a low-noise EEG acquisition system.
