Abstract
The advent of BIM era in the engineering and architectonic modeling and design made more and more precise, fast and complete the representation of reality. BIM and, especially, The Scan to BIM represents, in this sector, a valid method for the execution of digital reliefs, mostly made with the use of Laser scanner 3D, and then for the following return and modeling in BIM software. The aim of this thesis work is to concept an innovative technique which, by following the same consolidated method, aims to the automation of a process phase, side by side to most known traditional manual method. The experiment expected the automated extrapolation, with specialized software, of generating lines of vaulted architectural elements, detected by laser scanner, and later processed in Cad 3D environment, in order to easily obtain an accurate surface or a solid model of the element, easier to export in BIM environment.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
