Abstract
The application of CFD methods involves the conversion of a patient-specific geometry into a numerical model and computer simulation. Once the haemodynamic environment has been reconstructed, the wall shear stress and the oscillatory shear index are evaluated, as factors related to the pathogenesis and risk of rupture of cerebral aneurysms, in stationary and non-stationary conditions. A non-Newtonian flow through rigid geometry is simulated.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
