The thesis deals with the issue of assessing the quality assessment of waste water fired by mechanical-biological purifiers that discharge into the sea and the resulting dilution effect. Both the case of unloading by submarine pipeline and with direct discharge on the shoreline are analyzed. In particular, the discharge with a submarine pipeline is analyzed both with reference to the Atlantic Ocean environment with experimental surveys carried out off the island of Gran Canaria, where there are currents of greater intensity, both with reference to the typical marine environment of the Mediterranean Sea . From a plant engineering point of view, the case of variable effluent quality is also analyzed, ie the case of emission of wastewater at different depths depending on the characteristics of the licensed wastewater. The dilution effect is calculated experimentally with the help of special calculation software (Cormix) with specifically calibrated experimental coefficients.

Abstract
The dilution effect is calculated experimentally with the help of special calculation software (Cormix) with specifically calibrated experimental coefficients.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
