GEODESIGN: MATERIALI RIDISEGNARE I CONFINI TRA TERRA E MARE

The laboratory refers to the master in «Geodesign» recently founded at the Eindhoven Academy, which was created to deepen and implement the action of «designing with the earth», through interdisciplinary skills linked to the disciplines of ecology, geology, biology, physics, technology, geopolitics. In particular, it «deals with critically and lyrically questioning the material imprint of design, the human consumption of natural resources, thinking that the relationship of design with scientific methods can coexist, indeed must coexist, with aesthetic and narrative research.

Il laboratorio fa riferimento al master in «Geodesign» recentemente fondato presso l’Eindhoven Accademy, che nasce per approfondire e mettere in campo l’azione del «progettare con la terra», attraverso competenze interdisciplinari legate alle discipline dell’ecologia, geologia, biologia, fisica, tecnologia, geopolitica. In particolare si «occupa di interrogare in modo critico e lirico l'impronta materiale del design, il consumo umano di risorse naturali, pensando che il rapporto del design con i metodi scientifici possa convivere anzi deve convivere con la ricerca estetica e narrativa.
