This case study focuses on the Archaeological Park of Egnazia, a site where the landscape and coastal topography are uniquely interconnected. Located along the Adriatic coast, it preserves remains dating from the Bronze Age to the Medieval period, closely tied to the history and settlement structure of the area. Its strategic position along the Trajan Way and near the port made Egnazia an important trade hub. The project aims to reinterpret the ruins by exploring the hidden forms within them, focusing on their enhancement. The park is divided into three main areas: the Messapic Necropolis, the central zone with the Trajan Way and the Forum, and the northern Acropolis. The work addresses the site on multiple scales: landscape, settlement, and architecture, with the goal of revitalizing the place, evoking lost spaces, and enhancing the formal potential of the archaeological remains.
