This thesis work focuses on exploring the implementation of WWS (Win Web Server) Cash Management solution, a product developed by Auriga SPA, a leading Software Development company in Puglia, that leverages the Prophet algorithm for managing ATM cash. The research focuses on the predictive capacities that largely underline the efficacy of the system in forecasting cash demand against a network of ATMs, here described as cashpoints. Comparing the results of the study with the use of the AI approach to that of human intervention, the study points out the enhancement to be great for operational efficiency and availability of the ATMs, with almost 100% availability in all issues related to cash. It has been, in fact, mentioned that the availability of ATMs by the automated system is as good or, in many cases, even better than what humans demonstrated. Therefore, the use of advanced predictive analytics in cash management is expected to reduce operational costs to a considerable level and improve customer satisfaction accordingly. Future advancements should aim at improving the predictive models further and spreading the functioning of the system across other banking operations.

Abstract
Future advancements should aim at improving the predictive models further and spreading the functioning of the system across other banking operations.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
