The thesis project focuses on the enhancement of archaeological and cultural heritage, with particular attention to the role of the archaeologist within excavation and field research activities. In this context, the dissertation aims to investigate not only the skills and responsibilities that define the professional figure of the archaeologist, but also the ways in which they interact with the excavation environment and with the scientific community. An additional objective of the project is the critical analysis of the tools traditionally employed during archaeological operations, with the aim of assessing their effectiveness, limitations, and potential for innovation. At the same time, the study explores the issue of heritage enjoyment practices by the public, understood as a fundamental instrument of cultural mediation and knowledge dissemination. The dissertation therefore seeks to combine the technical–operational dimension with the communicative and educational one, in order to explore new design possibilities that can foster greater awareness and collective participation in the processes of protecting and enhancing archaeological heritage.

Abstract
The dissertation therefore seeks to combine the technical–operational dimension with the communicative and educational one, in order to explore new design possibilities that can foster greater awareness and collective participation in the processes of protecting and enhancing archaeological heritage.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
