INTEGRAZIONE DEI REQUISITI AMBIENTALI DEI CLIENTI NEL SISTEMA DI GESTIONE INTEGRATO PER L'INDUSTRIA AUTOMOBILISTICA SECONDO ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001

This thesis examines the need to overcome the generic nature of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System for the automotive sector and propose an Integrated Environmental Quality Management System based on ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001, enriched by customer environmental requirements, specifically Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The goal of the proposed integrated framework is to leverage the benefits of integrating management systems and the synergy between environment and quality. However, while there is an industry-specific standard for quality, IATF 16949, the environmental scope is based only on ISO 14001, resulting not detailed enough considering the numerous additional requirements of major European OEMs. The proposed model aims to bridge the regulatory gap between quality and the environment, providing a single reference tool to support supplier companies in complying with both quality and environmental requirements in the sector.

Questa tesi esamina la necessità di superare la genericità del Sistema di Gestione Ambientale ISO 14001 per il settore automobilistico e proporre un Sistema di Gestione Integrato Qualità Ambiente sulla base di ISO 9001, IATF 16949 e ISO 14001, arricchito dai requisiti ambientali dei clienti, nello specifico Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). L’obiettivo del framework integrato proposto è sfruttare i vantaggi dell’integrazione dei sistemi di gestione e la sinergia tra ambiente e qualità. Tuttavia, mentre per la qualità esiste uno standard specifico per il settore, IATF 16949, l’ambito ambientale si basa solo sulla ISO 14001, risultando poco dettagliato rispetto alle numerose richieste addizionali dei principali OEM europei. Il modello proposto mira a colmare il gap normativo tra qualità e ambiente, fornendo un unico strumento di riferimento per supportare le aziende fornitrici nel risultare conformi sia ai requisiti di qualità che ai requisiti ambientali del settore.
