This thesis focuses on the design of an innovative light product, conceived as a perceptual and interactive tool capable of transforming domestic space through light. The main objective of the project is to develop a pendant lamp characterized by a dual function: on the one hand, to provide direct and functional light, oriented to illuminate support surfaces for activities such as reading or conversation; on the other, to generate light projections on the ceiling through translucent materials, creating scenographic and atmospheric effects. The lamp thus becomes a dynamic and modulable object, in which the manual interaction of the user with a tilting element allows the intensity and geometry of the light to be controlled, making each lighting experience unique. The project also develops in a collection key: the formal and functional characteristics are expressed in various formats and sizes, allowing for adaptation to different needs and home contexts. The lamp, in addition to its illuminating function, takes on a sculptural value, contributing to the aesthetic and sensorial enrichment of the space. The methodology adopted combines theoretical research, stateof-the-art analysis, digital design, prototyping, and materials studies, with particular attention to the translucent materials that generate the optical phenomenon of refraction. The results highlight how it is possible to combine functionality, interactive experience, and aesthetic value in a single light fixture, defining a coherent language that itegrates light, form, and interaction. The thesis demonstrates how light design can become a sensory device, capable of influencing spatial perception, atmospheres, and interactions between users.

Abstract
The thesis demonstrates how light design can become a sensory device, capable of influencing spatial perception, atmospheres, and interactions between users.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
