The research analyses the relationship between design and nomadism, specifically classifying the first patents of nomadic objects, dividing them into personal and community artefacts. Also taking some famous cases of Italian and international design as reference, it investigated the principles characterising the nomadic artefact. Starting from the relationship between content and container, the dissertation aims to the design of a modular and composable container system.
La ricerca va ad analizzare il rapporto tra il design e il nomadismo, nello specifico va a catalogare i primi brevetti di oggetti nomadi, suddividendoli tra artefatti personali e comunitari. Prendendo anche come riferimento alcuni casi celebri del design italiano ed internazionale, si è giunti ad indagare sui principi caratterizzanti l’artefatto nomade. Partendo dalla relazione tra contenuto e contenitore, la tesi volge al progetto di un sistema contenitore modulabile e componibile.
