The laboratory continues the research that from the academic year 2011-12 were conducted on the themes of enhancing the sensory perceptual qualities of surfaces. • The area of interest is the sensory and expressive dimension of the materials that can relate to surfaces and their possibility of stimulating perception, the attribution of meanings and the emotional sphere, to review the most important sensory systems: sight, touch, sound and smell. In defining the relationship between material and design, the innovation activity carried out within the laboratory will be aimed not only at the design of new materials, but also at the modification of paradigms of use of pre-existing materials, capable of changing the sense of their use and application.

Abstract
The laboratory continues the research that from the academic year 2011-12 were conducted on the themes of enhancing the sensory perceptual qualities of surfaces. • The area of interest is the sensory and expressive dimension of the materials that can relate to surfaces and their possibility of stimulating perception, the attribution of meanings and the emotional sphere, to review the most important sensory systems: sight, touch, sound and smell. In defining the relationship between material and design, the innovation activity carried out within the laboratory will be aimed not only at the design of new materials, but also at the modification of paradigms of use of pre-existing materials, capable of changing the sense of their use and application.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
