The thesis is based on the study of the living conditions of the homeless through an investigation of the relationship between design and urban homelessness, exploiting the qualitative and quantitative data predicted by the case studies in the territorial and European context, and then arriving at a direct observation in the field through collaborations with the association InConTra and the cooperative C.A.P.S. operating in the Bari area. The theme expands the boundaries of social design and design thinking, but inserted in the theme of design for survival, declined to the problem of responding to basic needs and social integration. The research focuses on the design activity in which strategies are implemented to improve the daily lives of the homeless.

Abstract
The thesis is based on the study of the living conditions of the homeless through an investigation of the relationship between design and urban homelessness, exploiting the qualitative and quantitative data predicted by the case studies in the territorial and European context, and then arriving at a direct observation in the field through collaborations with the association InConTra and the cooperative C.A.P.S. operating in the Bari area. The theme expands the boundaries of social design and design thinking, but inserted in the theme of design for survival, declined to the problem of responding to basic needs and social integration. The research focuses on the design activity in which strategies are implemented to improve the daily lives of the homeless.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
