The following thesis work aims to experiment with the workings of a “point cloud”. The point cloud is obtained through the use of the 3D laser scanner, to date the most accurate methodology for architectural survey, especially in particularly complex cases; this thanks to the high speed, and the amount of information acquisition. This information is appropriately processed with the software Recap PRO (Autodesk), Geomagic Design X, and Cinema 4D, in order to obtain an optimal processing of the case study object. Our case study focuses on modeling the “Madonna delle Grazie” cap, located in Mola di Bari (BA).

Abstract
The following thesis work aims to experiment with the workings of a “point cloud”. The point cloud is obtained through the use of the 3D laser scanner, to date the most accurate methodology for architectural survey, especially in particularly complex cases; this thanks to the high speed, and the amount of information acquisition. This information is appropriately processed with the software Recap PRO (Autodesk), Geomagic Design X, and Cinema 4D, in order to obtain an optimal processing of the case study object. Our case study focuses on modeling the “Madonna delle Grazie” cap, located in Mola di Bari (BA).I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
