This thesis work was born from the need to identify those deviations that in a complex production system, such as the BH - NP (Baker Hughes - Nuovo Pignone), cause problems in terms of costs, times and quality. Therefore it was decided to study the phenomenon of non-conformities associated with an Engineering To Order (ETO) production system, such as that of BH - NP, in the complex process of order management. Abstract

The experience gained is part of a particularly extensive and long-term project that aims to improve the management logic of NCRs (especially i21) and to define corrective actions in order to reduce time and costs by improving quality. .

ANALYSIS AND ASSESSMENT OF NCR IN AN ETO APPROACH: THE BAKER HUGHES CASE
