In the following thesis project we dealt with the study of NFC technology, acronym of "Near Field Communication". Specifically, we focused on understanding how this technology can be best exploited by improving the efficiency of a series of services, making them simpler and easier to use. This was made possible through the development of an application, created with the aim of demonstrating the potential of the technology in question. Specifically, two fundamental examples were created: The first example refers to authorized access to demonstrate how in areas such as study rooms, gyms, workplaces, etc., where it is necessary to have a subscription or where only certain people can access it, it is possible to keep track of who accesses a study room or even simulate the behavior of the card used to stamp the card in a work environment. All this is possible by using a device equipped with NFC technology, such as a smartphone or a smartwatch. The second example, on the other hand, was developed with specific reference to the medical field. This example demonstrates through the digitization of medical prescriptions, how it is possible to simplify for users (patients), the purchase of medicines on prescription, sending via NFC, to the pharmacist, the medical prescription prescribed by your doctor.

Abstract

AREAS OF APPLICATIONS OF NFC TECHNOLOGY AND RELATED IMPLEMENTATIONS
