PROGETTAZIONE DI UNA PROTESI DI MANO PER SUONARE IL PIANOFORTE

The aim of this thesis is to design a hand prosthesis that, among other functions, can allow for playing the piano, albeit with obvious limitations. Specifically, after evaluating various structural and motion transmission options, I proceeded with the sizing and verification of the components. We then used Autodesk Inventor software to create a 3D model of the hand and to verify its response to stress.

L'obiettivo della tesi è quello di progettare una protesi di mano che, fra le varie funzioni, possa garantire quella di suonare il pianoforte con certamente ovvie limitazioni. In particolare, dopo aver vagliato varie opzioni strutturali e di trasmissione di moto, ho effettuato il dimensionamento e le verifiche dei componenti; siamo quindi passati ad utilizzare il software Autodesk Inventor per realizzare il modello 3D della mano e verificare la risposta alle sollecitazioni.
